Shuttle-Mir History/Shuttle Flights & Mir Increments

STS-71 launch

From February 1994 to June 1998, NASA Space Shuttles made 11 flights to the Russian space station Mir, and American astronauts spent seven residencies, or "increments," onboard Mir. Space shuttles also conducted crew exchanges and delivered supplies and equipment. The Short Tour offers a quick survey of shuttle flights and Mir increments. Mir Mission Chronicle, in PDF format, gives more information on early Shuttle-Mir missions, through August 1996. The Timeline gives a basic chronology of the program.
