The Space Shuttle orbiter Atlantis rolls from Orbiter Processing Facility Bay 3 to the Vehicle Assembly Building April 20, 1995, atop the orbiter transporter for mating to its external tank and solid rocket boosters in preparation for the STS-71 mission. Atlantis docked with the Russian Space Station Mir during the 11-day mission. Later, both Mir and STS-71 flight crew members conducted joint medical investigations in the Spacelab-Mir module located in the orbiter's payload bay.
