Greenhouse - Integrated Plant Experiments on Mir

The main objective of the integrated greenhouse experiments was to determine the effect of space flight on the ontogenesis, reproductive function, metabolism, and productivity in higher plants. This experiment evaluated superdwarf wheat plants, Triticum aestivum L., shown in the photo.
